The rectangular body shape

The Rectangular body shape

Rectangular: A rectangular body shape will have a boyish or athletic figure, more importantly and a key definition to this body shape is that they will have no visible waistline and will likely gain weight everywhere or across the stomach area.  A person with this body shape will have bust and hips that are the same width.

Do wear clothes with shaping, clothing with shaping can give your body definition such as a shaped      jacket which will give the illusion of a waist.  Tailored jackets will create a feminine shape.

Stay away from clothes that cling to your body.
Wear trousers that are lose but not overly baggy
Trouser waistlines that are square and low hung suit you.
Where skirts that have shaping such as gently flared and A line skirts.
Wear tops that nip in slightly at the waist
You can afford to wear tops with neck ties as part of their design
Accessories with large jewellery.
You can wear the pencil skirt as it is ideal for your shape but beware it will bring attention to your figure
to counteract this you could choose to wear a cardigan that falls below the waist with a shirt underneath.  Add a belt to the cardigan worn low to break up the body proportion and to give definition between the bust area and waist.
